Roof leaks, tracked down

A damp stain doesn't always sit under the leak. We trace the real source, fix it properly and show you the photos of what we found.

Find the cause before you fix the symptom

Water travels. It can enter at a failed flashing on the chimney, run along a batten and show up two rooms away. That's why we never just patch a damp patch — we inspect the roof, the detailing and the loft space where needed to find where the water is actually getting in.

Once we know the cause, we fix it with materials that match your roof. Small repairs are treated with the same care as full replacements, and anything we find is photographed so you can see exactly what we were looking at.

If water is coming in right now, call us — we'll do everything we can to get to you quickly and make the roof watertight.

Signs you might need this

Damp patches on ceilings or walls

Brown rings or mould appearing inside often mean water entering higher up or further along the roof.

Drips after heavy rain

A leak that only appears in driving rain usually points to a specific detail — flashing, valley or a gap in the covering.

Missing or slipped tiles

One slipped slate can let water straight onto the underlay. Worth fixing before it becomes a bigger job.
